Modeling my Moebius
Last year, while my husband was on a missions trip I learned to knit the Moebius Scarf - from a YouTube video of all places. Cat Bordhi - Intro into Moebius Knitting It took me a week to "get it" and after that I was on a roll and made several for myself in different colors and many for my friends. The Moebius (named after a German mathematician) is knit in the round and has a half twist which gives it such a nice form around the neck. These scarves are just wonderful - you can pull them up over your head for that short trip from the car to the store etc. when the icy wind is blowing - which isn't too far off where I live. I will not leave my house without one around my neck!
Conny, How creative! My neck is always cold and turtlenecks aren't always the thing to wear. I might have to take up knitting so I can learn to make one of those Moebius scarves!
I am sooo happy I discovered these. Of course, you can always take a soft and comfy fabric strip and give it a twist and sew it together for pretty much the same effect....if you sew, that is.... -:)
oh thank you Conny! Good idea! Yes I do sew. And I have lots of comfy fabrics. Hmmmm...
I was so excited when I was glancing through a Woman's Day magazine at the Dentist's office the other day. I instantly thought of you! So I finally had the time to look it up and you have to see this!! It's your Moebius but a bit wider!!! Welcome to my blog. I am sharing how to make stuff out of plastic bags. I am in the process of writing a book about it. A little about me - I'm a German-American, been married 33 years, have a son, 3 grandkids and a great dog. I've been through a lot but God has blessed me and I'm determined - with God's help - to make the best out of my life and to be a blessing to others.
How wonderful. I needed that last night...lol. You are so creative. Thanks for sharing all these fun things.
